Emma was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario with most childhood summers spent in Norfolk County. Emma graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts major in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and minor in Psychology. Graduating with a law degree from Western Law in June 2018, she began her articles at MHN Lawyers in July 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2019.
Active in the Simcoe community, Emma is a member of the board of directors of Haldimand-Norfolk Women’s Services and serves as a volunteer monitoring the shelter’s emergency phone line. Emma has long enjoyed choral music and sings with the Lynn Valley Voices.
Emma’s primary areas of practice are family law, estate litigation and criminal law. Emma is dedicated to assisting clients during the most difficult times in their lives through negotiation and advocacy to find sustainable and cost-effective resolutions.
